National Flood Relief in Triq L-Imdina

Works related to the National Flood Relief Project by the Works Division

Works on the National Flood Relief Project in Triq L-Imdina, from Triq Oliver Agius to Triq Notabile direction to Rabat, will be carried out this weekend.

The road will be closed to traffic as from Friday 30 October at 21:00hrs until Sunday 1 November at 10:00hrs.

Light vehicles will be diverted onto Triq Oliver Agius and onto Triq Notabile. Heavy vehicles will be diverted onto Vjal De Paule, Triq Birkirkara, Triq Dun Karm Debono and Triq Notabile.

Motorists are advised to proceed with caution. Any inconvenience is regretted.

Flood Relief in Attard

National Flood Relief Project Works in Triq l-Imdina Attard

Contractors for the National Flood Relief Project will be constructing iron gratings and resurfacing parts of Triq l-Imdina Attard as from tomorrow. Works will be completed in the first week of November.

Vehicles going towards Rabat will not be affected. The carriageway towards Valletta will be reduced to one lane as from 19:00 up to 22:00. From 22:00 up to 05:00 the carriageway will be completely closed. Vehicles coming from Rabat will be diverted to Triq il-Belt Valletta, Triq Karm Debono, Triq il-Kbira and then to Triq Vjal De Paul. The road will be open throughout the day. 

National Flood Relief Project in Ħ’Attard

Ongoing works related to the National Flood Relief Project in Ħ’Attard

Works related to the National Flood Relief Project will commence today in Triq Ħ’Attard in Ħ’Attard. Works will be carried out in phases. No complete road closure will take place. Works are expected to be completed by Friday 16^th October 2015.

Traffic  direction to Ħaż-Żebbug will not be affected. Traffic towards Ħ’Attard will be diverted onto Triq Tumas Chetcuti, Triq Ħal Warda and onto Triq Żagħfran.

National Flood Relief in Iklin

Ongoing works related to the National Flood Relief Project in L-Iklin

Traffic flow in Triq il-Wied L-Iklin will be directed from Naxxar to L-Iklin only. This is due to the ongoing works related to the  National Flood Relief Project.

Traffic  from Birkirkara bypass will be diverted onto Triq Ħal Għargħur and onto Triq Tal-Balal.

National Flood Relief Project continues

Ongoing works related to the National Flood Relief Project in L’Iklin

Works on The National Flood Relief Project have now reached phase two.  As from tomorrow 21 August at 09:30hrs, trenching works will be carried out in Triq il-Wied. Works are scheduled to be completed by 4 September 2015.

Only traffic from L’Iklin to Naxxar will be allowed. Traffic  from Triq Tal-Balal Naxxar to Triq Dun Karm (B’Kara byPass) will be restricted and vehicular traffic will be diverted onto Triq il-Labour Naxxar or onto Triq Hal Għargħur.

Works on National Flood Relief Project continue

Ongoing works related to the National Flood Relief Project

Works on The National Flood Relief Project have reached another phase.  As from tomorrow 18th August at 09:30hrs, construction of storm culverts will take place in Trid Dun Karm (bypass) in Birkirkara. Works are scheduled to be completed by Monday 7^th September.

Road closure is not necessary since works will be carried out on one lane at a time however delay in traffic is expected. Priority will be given to traffic from Triq Reġjonali.

More works on the National Flood Relief Project

Works related to the National Flood Relief Project by the Works Division

Works related to the National Flood Relief Project in Triq il-Wied ta’ Ħal Balzan in Ħal Balzan will continue this week.

Part of this road, between Triq il-Mitħna and Triq it-Tlett Knejjes, will be closed to vehicular traffic as from this morning at 09:30hrs until Thursday 13^th August 2015.

Vehicular traffic coming from Triq il-Wied Birkirkara will be diverted onto Triq it-Tabib J. Zammit, Triq il-Papa Piu XII and Triq in-Naxxar.

Vehicular traffic coming from L’Iklin will be diverted onto Triq Ġulju Cauchi, Triq Sir Antonio Micallef, Triq Ġuże Bonnici and Triq il-Kbira Ħal Balzan.

Public Transport will be diverted onto Triq in-Naxxar Birkirkara.
