‘The Tempest’ partly filmed in Gżira
Part of Rue D’Argens, from Triq l-Imsida to Triq San Ġorġ, will be closed to vehicular traffic in both directions from Wednesday 3rd June to Friday 5th June between 18:00hrs and 06:00hrs.
Vehicular traffic proceeding from Rue D’Argens to Sliema will be diverted onto Triq Testaferrata.
Vehicular traffic proceeding from Rue D’Argens to Msida will be diverted onto Triq San Ġorġ and onto Triq Testaferrata.
Public Transport:
Bus route 32 from Savoy to Msida, will be diverted from Rue D’Argens onto Triq Tas-Sliema, Kappara roundabout, Tal-Qroqq roundabout, Triq Mikiel Anton Vassalli, Xatt l-Imsida and follow the normal route towards Valletta.
Bus routes 12 and13 from Msida to Tas-Sliema Ferries will be diverted from Rue D’Arges onto Triq il-Prinċipessa Margerita, Triq Abate Rigord and follow the normal route towards Tas-Sliema Ferries.
Bus route X2 Tas-Sliema Ferries to Mater Dei Hospital will be diverted from ix-Xatt tal-Gżira onto Triq Abate Rigord, Xatt l-Imsida, Triq Mikiel Anton Vassalli, Tal-Qroqq roundabout and follow the normal route towards Mater Dei Hospital.
Bus routes 202 and 203 from Tas-Sliema Ferries to Mater Dei Hospital will follow the same diversion as bus route X2. Diversion applies for the return journey.
Bus route 22 from Msida to Savoy will be diverted from Msida junction to Triq Mikiel Anton Vassallo, Tal-Qroqq roundabout, Kappara roundabout, Triq Tas-Sliema, Rue D’Argens and follow the normal route.
Bus route 21 from Msida to Savoy will be diverted from Msida junction onto Triq Mikiel Anton Vassalli, Tal-Qroqq roundabout, Kappara roundabout, Triq Tas-Sliema, Rue D’Argens and follow the normal route. Diversion applies for the return journey.
