Baħrija works by Water Services

UPDATE on Works in Baħrija by the Water Services Corporation

Following works being carried out in Baħrija by the Water Services Corporation, the following traffic management is being implemented:

Traffic from L-Imtarfa bypass and from Saqqajja Hill Rabat is being diverted onto Triq il-Ġarġir, Triq Tas-Salvatur and Triq Bir ir-Riebu to Baħrija.

Traffic from Baħrija towards L-Imtarfa bypass and Saqqajja Hill Rabat is being diverted onto Triq il-Lellux and onto Triq il-Ġarġir.

Triq is-Salvatur is one way traffic towards Baħrija and Triq il-Lellux is one way traffic towards Rabat. Triq il-Ġarġir will remain two way traffic flow.

Triq il-Qalliet is open to traffic from Baħrija to Rabat from 06:00hrs to 09:00hrs on weekdays to ease the morning peak traffic hours.

This traffic arrangement will remain in place until works reach the junction with Triq il-Lellux.

Following the archaeological discoveries in the area, duration of works may take longer than expected.

Motorists are to follow  signs and to proceed with caution.

Maintenance works in L-Imrieħel bypass

Transport Malta will be resurfacing parts of L-Imrieħel bypass direction from Ħ’Attard to Ħal Qormi.

Road will be completely closed to traffic tonight between 19:30hrs and 05:00hrs.

Motorists are advised to proceed with caution.

Traffic Lights in Msida

Maintenance works on Traffic Lights in Triq il-Marina, L-Imsida

Transport Malta is carrying out maintenance works on Traffic Lights in Triq il-Marina, L-Imsida between  Thursday 19^th and Saturday 21^st November during the night (8pm till 6am). 

Motorists are to proceed with caution.

Road Maintenance in Triq San Pawl, St Paul’s Bay

Transport Malta will carry out maintenance work in Triq San Pawl, St. Paul’s Bay.

The road will be closed to traffic at night between 19:00hrs and 05:00hrs.  Works will be carried out between today and Wednesday 18 November.

If possible avoid the area during these times.  Drivers are to follow the signs and instructions by officials on site.

Road Maintenance in Triq Sir Harry Luke u Triq Għajn Tuffieħa L-Imġarr

Transport Malta will carry out maintenance work in Triq Sir Harry Luke u Triq Għajn Tuffieħa L-Imġarr.

The roads will be closed to traffic between tomorrow at 09:00hrs and Friday 20 November at 17:00hrs.

Resurfacing works in Triq L-Imdina Ħ’Attard

Transport Malta will carry out resurfacing works in Triq L-Imdina Ħ’Attard.

The road will be closed to traffic in both directions.  Works will be carred out at night between 20:00hrs and 05:00hrs from today until Thursday 19 November.

If possible avoid the area during these times.  Drivers are to follow the signs and instructions by officials on site.

Road Maintenance in Saqqajja Hill, Rabat

Transport Malta will continue resurfacing of Saqqajja Hill in Rabat.

The road will be closed to traffic in both directions between Wednesday 18 November at 09:30hrs and Friday 20 November at 17:00hrs.

If possible avoid the area during these times.  Drivers are to follow the signs and instructions by officials on site.

Resurfacing in Mrieħel Bypass

Transport Malta is resurfacing parts of Mrieħel Bypass between Monday 16th November and Friday 20th November.  The works will be carried out between 19:30 and 05:00.

During these times, the carriageway towards Attard will be completely closed.  Most of the carriageway towards Qormi will remain accessible.

Kindly avoid the area if possible. Follow diversions and instructions on site.

Resurfacing in Kalkara

Resurfacing in Triq Marina, Kalkara

 Transport Malta will be resurfacing parts of Triq Marina Kalkara.

 The road will be closed between 07.00hrs and 23.00hrs  from Monday 16th November till Thursday 19th November. 

 

Public Transport will be diverted through Triq San Dwardu, Triq il-Missjoni Taljana and Triq Santu Rokku.

Kindly avoid the area if possible, follow diversion signs and instructions on site.

Final asphalting work in Saqqajja Hill

Transport Malta will be laying the final layer of Asphalt in Saqqajja Hill.

The road will be closed from 14:00 till tomorrow, Saturday at noon.

Drivers are requested to avoid the area, follow the diversions and instructions.
